Bryan Zaragoza into quarter-finals with Spain, Ritzy Hülsmann keeps clean sheet
A total of 22 Bayern players are currently away from Munich on loan at clubs across Europe as they seek to continue their development and get regular minutes. In loan watch, fcbayern.com is keeping track of how the loanees are faring throughout 2024/25. This past week saw notable performances from Bryan Zaragoza, Hyunju Lee and Tom Ritzy Hülsmann.
Bryan Zaragoza: Spain comeback
Zaragoza returned to the Spain fold over the international break. The 23-year-old winger didn’t play in the European champions’ 1-0 win over Denmark in the UEFA Nations League but did come on for the final quarter of an hour of the 3-0 victory against Serbia. The Bayern-owned frontman made the most of his time on the pitch, having two shots and setting up another couple. The result saw Spain through to the quarter-finals of the Nations League.
And Bryan was then back in club action, starting Osasuna’s 2-1 loss at home to Real Betis and coming off shortly before the end of the game.
Hyunju Lee: Home win over Schalke
Lee started Hannover’s 1-0 win at home to Schalke in Bundesliga 2. The South Korean won two thirds of his duels and boasted a pass completion of 94 percent. He was substituted off for ex-Bayern reserves man Jannik Rochelt in the 70th minute. It was the midfielder’s seventh appearance in Bundesliga 2 this season.
